 ✅ 4) - is a free online English dictionary which has a search box which returns the word, and phrase definitions from a variety of dictionary tables or use the word finder by clicking a letter and scrolling down the page. 

 ✅ 5) English Dictionary -
This is a free searchable English dictionary with over 200,000-word definitions and the list of their synonyms. You can search for a word using the search box, or you can browse the dictionary using the alphabetical links.

Search dozens of free online dictionaries directly from this page. You search from the different dictionaries separately as oppose to the site pulling all the dictionaries together and having one search box. There is a search box next to each dictionary site.

This site contains an online English dictionary, along with a dream dictionary (helps interpret dreams by providing detailed explanations of various dream subjects), a medical dictionary, a computer dictionary (based on the FOLDOC dictionary) and a thesaurus. To use the dictionary, you may search using the search box or you may browse the word listings by letter of the alphabet.

This site provides an online dictionary, thesauruses, crossword solver, unscramble SCRABBLE solver, word translator, and text translator. Scroll down the page until you find what you are looking for (there are different search boxes for each task).

This online dictionary can be installed in your browser, your website, or phone. Double-click a word on any web site or type one in. It features spelling correction, integrated thesaurus, translation of individual word senses to French, German, Dutch, Spanish, or Portuguese, and intelligent web search using a variety of search engines. It picks up context information from the page on which the word was found to help it find relevant information. 

 ✅ 11) Merriam-Webster Online -
Merriam-Webster's Online Language Center offers an online dictionary (based on Merriam-Webster's Collegiate(R) Dictionary) and thesaurus. The dictionary features a new spelling helper that allows you to look up words that you don't know how to spell. Additional features include word of the day, word games, and word for the wise (a 2-minute radio show script that explores the English language). This site has recently added lesson plans for teachers. This is a very comprehensive language site.

A comprehensive index of over 600 dictionaries encompassing 2440427 words. Contains a database search that allows you to find a word contained in any of the dictionaries. If you can’t find a word here, odds are it doesn’t exist! 

✅ 13) Picture Dictionary -
This is a dictionary for elementary aged children. Click on a letter and scroll down for the word you want. The definitions are written plus a picture is shown. They also have the following foreign language dictionaries: English-Dutch, English-French, French-English, English-German, German-English, English-Italian, English-Japanese, English-Portuguese, English-Spanish, Spanish-English, and English-Swedish.

In this dictionary, words are defined as pictures, for learning the exact names of objects. It is different from a dictionary because the images replace the words. Topics available are vegetal biology, animal biology, the human body, music, and transportation. You can view this webpage in English and French.

This site features an index of over 2,000 dictionaries. The dictionaries are organized into convenient subsets such as foreign language, multi-lingual, and speciality. Also includes access to thesauri, language identifiers, translators, grammar tips, and a search engine.
